能辨认出它的人基本上都可归入知音的行列；每一次，走近的脚步都会让它的卵状叶抖动如小鳟鱼；一半是仪式，婉转于诸如此类的私人的秘密确实没有公开的必要；一半是见证，纯粹于生命之间的界限其实还有好多有趣的缝隙呢。所以非要过浩渺这一关的话，不妨先参照那可爱的抖动，狠狠剪去人之树上多余的枝蔓。季节变幻之际，你的心能将秋天的颜色浸润到何种程度，它就能将同样的热忱分毫不差地反映在醒目的乔木树叶上；即使你有时会迷惘，它也从未怀疑过这对应的严肃性。以貌取人似乎不可取，但用在它身上，几乎千真万确；如此好看的椭圆形长叶必定和发达的根系有关。秋风萧瑟之际，它并未带来特别的知识；它带来的是——远远看去，人的孤独怎么好意思和它的侧影相提并论。

Basicallythosewhorecognizethemcanbeincludedinthecircleoftruefriends.Anyfootstepstooclosetothetreeswillcausetheirovalleavestoquiverliketroutminnows;partlyceremonial,appreciatingprivacyandpersonalspaceformattersbetterkeptundisclosed;partlytestimonial,intruththereremainmanyintriguesinthespacewheretwolivesmeet.So,foramantobecalledstupendous,onemustrememberthesetrees’lovelyflickersanddecisivelypruneofftheovermuch.Whentheseasonstaggersinandout,howeveryourheartsoaksinautumncolors,itwillbereciprocatedwithequalpassioninthecaptivatingfoliage.Attimesinlifeyoumightfeellost,butthetreeswillnotdoubtyourearnestconnection.Itmaybeunwisetojudgeanyone’scharacterbyappearance,butdoingsoisjustifiedwhenitcomestothistree;itsexquisiteovalleavesmustbetheoffshootsofasophisticatedrootsystem.Whenautumnturnschilly,theydonotofferanythingwehaven’talreadyknown;however,itascertains:fromadistance,alonelyhumansilhouettelooksembarrassinglyduffcomparedtothistree’sprofile.
